Off-Road Customization FAQs
What does a full off-road build cost?
Off-road build costs depend on how far you want to go. A basic build (leveling kit + wheels + tires) starts around $1,500 to $3,000. A mid-level build (4-6 inch lift + wheels + tires + alignment) runs $3,000 to $6,000. A full off-road build (6+ inch lift, wheels, tires, bumpers, winch, lights, armor, exhaust) ranges from $8,000 to $20,000+. We work with every budget and can prioritize upgrades so you build in stages if needed. Financing available for the entire build.
What vehicles do you build for off-road?
All major truck and SUV platforms: Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, and Ranger. Chevrolet Silverado 1500/2500HD/3500HD, Colorado, and ZR2. GMC Sierra and Canyon. Ram 1500/2500/3500 and TRX. Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner, and Sequoia. Jeep Wrangler JL/JK/TJ, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee, and Cherokee. Nissan Titan and Frontier. Plus full-size SUVs like Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Expedition. If it goes off-road, we build it.
Can you build my Jeep Wrangler for off-road?
Jeep Wranglers are one of our most popular builds. We install lift kits (2.5 to 6+ inches), 35 to 37 inch tires, beadlock wheels, steel bumpers, winches (Warn, Smittybilt), rock sliders, LED light bars, fender flares, and skid plates. We work on JL, JK, TJ, and Gladiator platforms. Whether you want a weekend trail rig or a dedicated rock crawler, we have the parts and expertise to build it. We also regear axles when tire size demands it and install lockers for improved traction.
Do you install off-road bumpers and winches?
Yes. We install front and rear off-road bumpers from Ranch Hand, Fab Fours, Iron Cross, Road Armor, ARB, Warn, and Smittybilt. Most bumpers are winch-compatible — we mount and wire winches (Warn Zeon, VR, Smittybilt X2O, Rough Country) including synthetic rope, fairlead, and wiring harness. We also install receiver hitches, tow hooks, D-ring mounts, and light bar mounts integrated into bumper designs.
What off-road lights do you install?
We install LED light bars (20 to 52 inches), pod lights, fog lights, ditch lights, rock lights, and interior trail lights. Brands include Rigid Industries, KC HiLiTES, Baja Designs, Rough Country, Vision X, and Nilight. We handle all wiring, switching (including aux switch panels like sPOD and Trigger Controller), and mounting. Properly aimed and wired off-road lighting makes the difference between a trail runner and a pavement princess.
Do you do off-road exhaust upgrades?
Yes. Off-road trucks and Jeeps benefit from performance exhaust — better airflow, improved throttle response, and a sound that matches the aggressive look. We install cat-back and axle-back systems from Flowmaster, MagnaFlow, Borla, Gibson, MBRP, and Banks Power. For diesel trucks (Powerstroke, Duramax, Cummins), we install DPF-back and turbo-back systems that improve exhaust gas temperature and turbo spool. All exhaust work is emissions-compliant.
Can I build in stages or do I need to do everything at once?
Absolutely — building in stages is common and smart. Many customers start with a lift kit and tires (the most visible upgrade), then add wheels, bumpers, and lights over the following months. We plan your build so each stage works with the next — your first-stage lift accommodates the tire size you want later, and your wheel offset works with the bumpers you plan to add. Financing lets you do more upfront if you prefer, but staged builds work great too.
How long does a full off-road build take?
Timeline depends on the scope. A leveling kit + wheel/tire swap: 1 day. A 4-6 inch lift with wheels, tires, and alignment: 1-2 days. A full build with lift, wheels, tires, bumpers, winch, lights, armor, and exhaust: 3-5 days depending on parts availability and fabrication needs. We schedule your build and keep you updated throughout. Most parts are ordered with a 3-7 day lead time, and we begin work as soon as everything arrives.
What is the $249.99 off-road inspection?
Our pre and post off-road inspection package is $249.99 and includes a full 4-wheel alignment. Before your trail run, we inspect your suspension, steering, drivetrain, brakes, and undercarriage to make sure everything is tight and trail-ready. After you get back, we check for any damage, loose components, or wear — and realign. It is the smartest investment any serious off-roader can make to keep their rig safe and reliable.
