Leveling Kit
Raises the front 1-2.5 inches to match the rear. Uses spacers on top of your factory struts. Keeps your factory ride quality. Allows slightly larger tires (usually 1 size up). $200-$500 installed with alignment.
Lift Kit
Raises the entire vehicle 2-12+ inches using new springs, shocks, control arms, or long-arm systems. Completely transforms the look and capability. Room for much larger tires. Requires alignment, possibly extended brake lines and driveline work. $800-$6,000+ installed.
Which Should You Choose?
Leveling kit if: you want to eliminate the factory nose-down rake, fit slightly bigger tires, and keep your stock ride on a budget.
Lift kit if: you want a dramatic look change, room for 33-37 inch tires, better off-road clearance, or you are building a trail rig.
